MD, PhD, surgical oncologist in the Department of Surgery No. 7, N.N. Blokhin National Medical Research Center of Oncology, Ministry of Health of Russia.

In 2016, he graduated from Stavropol State Medical University, Faculty of General Medicine. Dr. Egenov is a scholarship holder of the Government of Stavropol region "For excellent academic and research achievements". He won the first prize in the North Caucasus round of the 25th Interregional Russian Surgery Olympiad. He is also a finalist of the 25th M.I. Perelman Moscow Student Olympiad in Surgery.

In 2016–2017, Dr. Egenov had clinical internship in surgery at the City Clinical Hospital No. 2, Department of Surgery and Endosurgery with a Course of Vascular Surgery and Angiology, Stavropol State Medical University.

In 2017–2019, he had clinical residency in Oncology at the Department of Surgery No. 6 (Abdominal Oncology), N.N. Blokhin National Medical Research Center of Oncology, Ministry of Health of Russia.

During his residency, he was awarded the prize of N.N. Trapeznikov "For excellent academic achievements and active participation in the research activities of N. Blokhin Russian Cancer Research Center".

In 2019–2022, Dr. Egenov was a PhD student in the Department of Surgery No. 6 (Abdominal Oncology), N.N. Blokhin National Medical Research Center of Oncology, Ministry of Health of Russia.

In 2022, he defended his thesis ahead of schedule (candidate of medical sciences): "Paraaortic and pelvic lymph node dissection in the comprehensive treatment for recurrent ovarian cancer".

Dr. Egenov is an executive secretary of the journal "Pelvic Surgery and Oncology", N.N. Blokhin National Medical Research Center of Oncology, Ministry of Health of Russia.

Instructor and methodologist of the multifunctional Simulation and Training Accreditation Center of N.N. Blokhin National Medical Research Center of Oncology, Ministry of Health of Russia.

Since 2022, Dr. Egenov has been working as a surgical oncologist in the Department of Surgery No. 7 (hepato-pancreato-biliary tumors), N.N. Blokhin National Medical Research Center of Oncology, Ministry of Health of Russia.

Research interests: surgical and combination treatment for cancers of the abdominal cavity and retroperitoneal space, pancreato-biliary-duodenal tumors, liver tumors, tumors of major vessels, cytoreductive surgeries for primary and recurrent ovarian tumors; laparoscopic interventions for abdominal tumors.

Dr. Egenov has coauthored 15 research articles in Russian and foreign journals.
